Computer Literacy

In the modern world, it is unrealistic to study and work without a computer. It is necessary for all people, starting from school age. Therefore, it is most useful and expedient to start learning from school age, when the student literally "absorbs" knowledge and subsequently begins to use it on an intuitive level.  Our "Computer literacy"  program is dedicated to the techniques of effective modern work on a personal computer.

Classes on “Computer literacy” are suitable for:
    •    the beginners (if you’ve never worked on computer)
    •    those who want to improve computer skills in office applications

YEC Computer literacy courses for  our students  will teach them how to use computers, work with programs, and navigate the internet. They can also help kids develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Spanish

The YEC believes Learning a second language as a youth is important because it can significantly improve cognitive skills, enhance cultural understanding, boost career opportunities, develop better problem-solving abilities, and foster a greater appreciation for different cultures, all while improving their native language skills as well; essentially preparing them to be more adaptable global citizens.

Mentor-Me

YEC FOCUSES ON THE-WHOLE CHILD . Our program is designed to mentor our students Socially and Emotional Well-Being. Mentors provide a crucial support system, helping mentees navigate their emotions and the challenges of growing up, a focus highlighted in TrainSmart’s training. Activities like role-playing or journaling, recommended in the course, help mentees express and manage their feelings effectively. This guidance is invaluable in building resilience and self-regulation, essential for maintaining personal stability and good mental health.
Examples :
Dealing with Peer Pressure: A mentor helps teenagers by discussing ways to say no to peers and encouraging risky behaviours assertively. This guidance helps the mentee develop the confidence to make independent choices.

Stress Management During Exams: A mentor teaches a mentee relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing and mindfulness, to manage stress before and during exams. These tools aid both the mentor and mentee maintain focus and emotional calm.

Handling Emotional Outbursts: A mentor uses role-playing scenarios to help a mentee learn to express anger and frustration constructively rather than through outbursts. It helps the mentee improve their communication skills and emotional intelligence.
